Q. Why doesn't the software download?
A. Please follow the steps in the download link email.
Did you follow step numbers 4 and 5 in the download instructions? Those instructions are repeated below:
4. If popup message "prusetup.zip isn't commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust prusetup.zip before you open it." displays, highlight the message, and click the three dots on the right side of the message, and click "Keep".
When the "Extract" screen displays, Right click on PRUsetup.exe, and click "Open".
When the popup "Windows protected your PC" displays, click "More info", and click the "Run anyway" button.
5. In popup "User Account Control", click the "Yes" button.
TKT Payroll is safe to download. If your security software is giving a false positive reading that TKT Payroll is not safe, please temporarily deactivate your security/anti-virus software, and reactivate it after the TKT Payroll software download is complete.

Please use the steps below to locate the prusetup.ZIP folder that has been saved to the C: hard drive on your computer:
1. Click the folders icon (File Explorer) on the task bar at the bottom of your computer screen.
2. When the "File Explorer" window displays, click on "Downloads" listed under "Quick access" on the left side of the "File Explorer" window.
3. RIGHT click on the prusetup.ZIP folder that has today's date.
4. Select "Open with", and click "File Explorer".
5. In the new window, RIGHT click on the prusetup.exe (application file), and click "Open" to start the installation of TKT Payroll software update.
